Education Subcommittee

Objectives:

 The mission of the educational subcommittee is to integrate the principles of the ICEBP into the existing infrastructures responsible for training new and existing perfusion professionals.  This subcommittee is tasked with identifying the core skill sets necessary for new and existing professionals for practicing evidence-based perfusion. 

·        Development of an evidence-based curriculum model: We plan to develop an evidence based curriculum model that will be presented to the Perfusion Program Directors Council for inclusion in their current revision of the consensus curriculum that serves as a guideline for programs to follow. The module will be focused on teaching evidence-based medicine as it applies to perfusion. {evidence-based perfusion practice}

·        Profiling educational models: We will be profiling the international perfusion education models of the countries that are currently affiliated with the ICEBP. From here, we hope to develop collaborative educational models across the world.
