Transcribers usually work during normal business hours, but they can also work part-time, especially if they are freelancers. Applicants admitted to a Chinese or Chinese Translation and Interpretation major may be withdrawn from the language test requirements based on their academic performance and the recommendation of the language department; they may also first enroll in this program as students pending the admissions process.
